This unique bench utilizes thin flexible photovoltaic cells to constantly charge an array of batteries hidden in the base which in turn provide power for devices such as laptops, tablets and phones through outlets in the center of the seating area. The PV cells are placed and protected below clear silicone cushions that form the seating area of the bench. The PV and cushions are organized in a semi-hexagonal pattern of cells and each cell is supported by a shock absorber connecting back to a single steel frame bridge resting on four tapered feet.

This bench does not require power itself and can be placed virtually anywhere seating and device power are needed. It can also be configured to a variety of sizes and heights from a single stool to a day bed.
